On April 14, national experts on the priority areas of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) gathered at a meeting at the Ministry of Regional Development and Construction and established priority activities for the next quarter of this year and also have come up with ideas on new cross-border cooperation projects.
Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Construction, National Coordinator of EUSDR Anatol Usatîi, has stressed that "the European Uniununea autumn will provide new European financial framework for 2014-2020. In this context, ministerial meetings aimed at identifying and analyzing all financing instruments available to identify priorities which will be materialized in projects and will ensure the country's development. " He also said that information exchange and inter-ministerial cooperation will ensure effective participation of our country in all the 11 priorities of the strategy and will enhance the promotion SUERD national, regional, local and international.
During the meeting, were presented results of the visits of the National Coordinator in Slovakia and the EUSDR Secretariat (the "Danube connects") in Romania, being nominated conclusions and recommendations of development partners to implement EUSDR in Moldova. In the same context they reviewed the challenges to effectively implement EUSDR and potential beneficiaries of future border and transnational cooperation programs for 2014-2020.
Meeting of national experts on EUSDR priority areas was organized within the project "Danube connects", implemented with the financial support of the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), and the Austrian Development Cooperation funds.
Moldova is part of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region since 2010, and the Ministry of Regional Development and Construction is coordinating its implementation and promotion in our country.

The result of the second call for proposals of the Danube Transnational Programme (DTP) has been released. The Monitoring Committee (MC) has decided in its meeting held in Podgorica (Montenegro) on 21th and 22nd March 2018, that 22 projects are approved with conditions, out of the 119 proposals submitted for the 2nd call. The final approval is expected in May 2018. An updated list of approved projects will be published on the DTP website consequently.More details >
